  • Girls Softball Tryouts will begin on March 27th

    Boys Baseball Try outs will begin on March 22nd

    Track Practice will beging on April 10th

    after school until 5 p.m.

    Students must have a physical AND a permission slip (one for each sport) on file in the office before tryouts begin.

  • Did you hear the Mystery Reader on the announcement on Monday?  Do you know his/her name and/or the title of the book he/she was reading?  If so, fill out this form to make your guess.  You may submit ONE GUESS PER WEEK for each mystery reader. A winner will be selected from all entries on Tuesday, March 28th.  The winner will receive a free lunch delivered to the cafeteria from ANY restaurant in Belleville that is open during your lunch period!  Good Luck!  Listen to the announcements on Mondays for your chance to enter!

  • The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to McBride!  Students will visit with their Social Studies classes on Tuesday, March 7th and Wednesday, March 8th. The Book Fair will also be open during conferences on Thursday, March 9th from 12-3 and 4-7.  The online fair will run from March 6-March 15th at http://www.scholastic.com/bf/mcbridemiddleschool.

  • Online Carnegie Learning Fix

    Due to security concerns, Firefox and Chrome browsers have blocked the Java Plug-in necessary for the Online Carnegie Learning.  Carnegie Learning has recommended using the Firefox browser and selecting the "Lite" version of the Carnegie software when logging in.  In addition, an updated version of Java, Version 8 - Update 51, will need to be installed.  For further questions or additional support, please contact customer service by phone at 877-401-2527 or e-mail at help@carnegielearning.com.

    Please note:  When logging in, please log in using your school ID as your username, which should be an 8 digit number.

  • McBride Sports events that are held inside the school requires a $2.00 admission fee for students and adults. Games start at 4 p.m.  Please enter and exit near the gymnasium on the east side of the building.
     
    Students must leave the building and return at 4 p.m. with an parent if they are to attend the game.

  • Recently Van Buren Public Safety Director Greg Laurain issued a press release in support of the OK2SAY initiative launched by the State of Michigan. This initiative was created to enable students to confidentially report potential harm or criminal activities involving students or school employees. 

    The OK2SAY focus is early intervention and prevention, acting as an early warning system to thwart school tragedies before they occur. The link for this program will become a permanent part of our District and School websites. We also have a FAQ section on this program.
