  • Recently Van Buren Public Safety Director Greg Laurain issued a press release in support of the OK2SAY initiative launched by the State of Michigan. This initiative was created to enable students to confidentially report potential harm or criminal activities involving students or school employees.

The OK2SAY focus is early intervention and prevention, acting as an early warning system to thwart school tragedies before they occur. The link for this program will become a permanent part of our District and School websites. We also have a FAQ section on this program.
