Rawsonville Mission Statement

The staff of Rawsonville Elementary believes that all students - regardless of previous academic performance, family background, race, or gender - can learn. Our school’s purpose is to educate the total child. We accept the responsibility to teach for mastery, the essential learner outcomes, and to seek a partnership with parents to ensure this learning.

Our students in Kindergarten through Grade 5, together with Lower and Upper Multi-Age Classes are joined by:  29 professional teaching support staff including a psychologist, social worker, reading specialist, speech and language therapist, resource classroom teachers, vision and hearing specialists, and homebound services.  Building support staff including secretaries, class-room paraprofessionals, custodians, and lunch-room personnel and…Dedicated parent and community volunteers!

P.A. 102.1999, requires each building to report the number of acts of physical violence, gang-related activities, illegal possession of controlled substances or other intoxicants, trespassing, property crimes like theft and vandalism, etc., which were reported or called into the police. We are proud to report that Rawsonville School, whose building enrollment is 464 students, had no reportable incidents.
