Belleville High School

BNT Announcements

  • While you may be familiar with MiStar, the district tool used to track grades and attendance, Belleville New Tech uses a Learning Management System (LRM) known as echo.  Echo has undergone a complete redesign.  The BNT staff will be training students in the classroom on the use of echo, but we feel that it is important for parents/gaurdians to undersatnd how to use and access the system as wel so that we can be effective partners in our students' learning success.  With that in mind, we have set up several echo training events that we hope you can attend.

Because of the complete redesign made to echo, we suggest all parents attend an echo training session.

ECHO TRAINING SESSIONS    Location: Belleville High School, Room 86 Computer Lab

At Belleville New Tech, our mission is to re-imagine teaching and learning through the integrated use of technology, the rigorous and relevant use of project-based learning, and a culture that is student-centric and based on trust, respect, and responsibility. We prepare our students for the future.

This school opened its doors in 2011 to a freshman class of 126. We are in our fifth year servicing grades 9-12. We focus on skills our students will need to be successful after high school. Skills like collaboration, oral and written communication, and agency, are taught alongside knowledge and critical thinking.

Student demographics match those of Belleville High School and Van Buren Public Schools. Students are chosen based on a stratified lottery.
