  • Welcome to the New VBPS Website!

The website has many new features that we will be introducing soon. As we continue to grow the website, we look forward to your suggestions. Suggestions can be made by emailing
We are very excited that this new website has a number of options that will help us to improve the school-home connection. One of the best features of the new website is the calendar system! Parents and guardians will be able to view a customizable calendar that includes events from all of their children who attend Van Buren Public Schools. The parents' view of the site will also include a tab for each of their children, making it easier to see all kinds of important information.  Parents will receive more information in the fall about how to log in to the site.
The site also features a new "Pass Key" system, which allows parents, students, and teachers to log in to the site one time and have easy, one-click access to their accounts. After setting it up, parents would have one-click access to the MiStar Parent Portal, Edulink, and Payschools. Students would have one-click access to the MiStar Student Portal, their school library account, and other accounts such as Carnegie Math or Read180 when applicable.
The new website also features improved mobile navigation! It is designed to provide a streamlined interface that works well with phones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
We welcome your feedback on this exciting new site!
