  • Attention Parents of Owen 6th grade students:

     

    If your student is interested in Volleyball, Cross Country, Football, or Cheerleading for Football for McBride during the 2017- 2018 school year, your student must have a physical from a doctor’s office and permission slip to turn in on the first day of practice.  Forms are available to download on McBride’s website under the athletic tab. Please note practice may start before the first day of school.  Please call McBride after August 14th to find out more information.

  • Recently Van Buren Public Safety Director Greg Laurain issued a press release in support of the OK2SAY initiative launched by the State of Michigan. This initiative was created to enable students to confidentially report potential harm or criminal activities involving students or school employees. 

    The OK2SAY focus is early intervention and prevention, acting as an early warning system to thwart school tragedies before they occur. The link for this program will become a permanent part of our District and School websites. We also have a FAQ section on this program.
