When challenged by the city of Romulus to design a logo for their new employee appreciation program, BHS junior Tabatha Channey rose to the occasion. Currently featured on the city of Romulus human resources page, the logo includes the number 27.2, playing on the idea that employees would go an extra mile beyond the marathon distance of 26.2 miles. Tabatha created the project as part of her graphic design class, taught by Mr. Musser. Mr. Musser received an appreciation letter from the Romulus director of human resources commending him for his teaching ability and his willingness to participate in the partnership.
