ROTC Scholarships: Reserve Officer Training: Contact local military recruiters or university. Scholarships involve a military commitment after graduation

TIP (Tuition Incentive Program): The State of Michigan offers TIP (Tuition Incentive Program) for students with low incomes. Students are encouraged to attend participating colleges and the tuition will be paid by the state. If your family received assistance from the Department of Social Services, you may be eligible for this college program. Call the hotline at 1-888-447-2687.

First Robotics Program Scholarships: Many scholarship opportunities are available to students who have participated in the FIRST robotics program. Scholarships can be located at https://www.firstinspires.org/scholarships.

Horatio Alger Scholarships: Students must be a US citizen and have a minimum GPA of 2.0. Eligible students must have a critical financial need and have involvement in co-curricular and community service activities. Different scholarships available. MICHIGAN SCHOLARSHIP (Ave Maria University)

AMU (near Naples, FL) is once again offering the Michigan Scholarship ($28,000 over 4 years) to local Catholic students (from MI), making an authentic Catholic education affordable. Please be aware that in addition to this scholarship, additional institutional and federal aid are available for qualified students.

The RealtyHop Scholarship awards up to $2,000 a year to eligible undergraduate students and high school seniors working towards a bachelor and/or associate degree program in the US who demonstrate the ambition, diligence, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit that is central to our company culture.

"How have your family, friends, and life at home influenced your decision on your future career?"

How to Apply and Eligibility:

You must be a current student in an eligible undergraduate program or a graduating high school senior in the U.S., working towards a bachelor's degree or associates degree.

You must apply using your school email address. If your school does not provide one, then you may still apply using your personal email and include a PDF file of your acceptance letter to the Undergraduate or Associates program. We will ultimately need to verify your eligibility upon submission.

JOHN ALDEN CLARK AND MARIE MOUNTAIN CLARK SCHOLARSHIP

You could earn a $1,500 scholarship to assist with your degree!

Scholarship Criteria

  • Student must be a full time high school student in their senior year of secondary education (public, private or home school).
  • Student must be in good standing at their current high school and have minimum of a 2.5 GPA on a 4 point scale.
  • Student must be accepted by a degree granting institution in Michigan (Michigan public and private institutions, trade schools, vocational schools, community colleges).

Student must be pursuing a major in math, science, physics, engineering, technology, aviation or aeronautics.

Student must be a U.S. and Michigan resident.

  • One teacher recommendation.
  • One professional recommendation (work, volunteer activity, etc.)
  • Student must be enrolled full time at the institute of higher education.

    The LM Scholarship Program provides a $500 scholarship to a deserving student who is:

    1. Currently enrolled or expects to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years of length or greater) by September.
    2. A student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and submit an answer to the essay question prior to the submission deadline.
    3. A student must be a US resident or a Canadian resident and must also attend a school in Canada or the US.

    To be considered eligible for the Odenza Vacations College Scholarship you must:

    1) Be between the ages of 17 and 24 on September 1st, 2020.
    2) Submit an answer to the essay question, which can be found on the application page, prior to the June 1st, 2020 deadline.
    3) Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.
    4) Be a resident of the United States or Canada.

    The scholarship winner will be announced roughly 6 weeks after the deadline and will be posted on this website immediately after. All applications must be received by 11:59 pm ET on the day of the deadline. No late applications will be reviewed.

    7 Scholarships Your Students Should Know About

    College access and success programs around the country are offering scholarship opportunities that can help your students fill the gaps in their financial aid packages. These seven national scholarship programs are accepting applications this winter from students like yours.

    Undocumented students can receive up to $14,500 annually to obtain an associate’s degree, or up to $29,000 to get a bachelor’s.

    Eligible Native American students can win $2,000 to fund their undergraduate degree.

    Leadership-oriented minority students demonstrating financial need are encouraged to apply to receive up to $30,000 over four years.

    Hispanic high school seniors and current undergraduate students can win scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 based on merit and financial need.

    Students who have been in foster care for at least 12 consecutive months are eligible to win $2,500-$5,000 based on need and merit.

    Members of the LGTBQ community who demonstrate leadership skills, academic achievement and financial need can apply for this grant.

    Students must simply be U.S. residents enrolled in a college or university to be eligible for this scholarship. Awards of $2,018 are given every month.
