Rawsonville is a respectful, responsible, and safe learning environment where all students can achieve and succeed!
We are so glad that you have chosen us to educate your child.
The Rawsonville Elementary School Staff is dedicated to providing your child with a safe, fun, and enriching learning environment.
We are here everyday to teach your child, and we view parents as partners in this process.
If you ever have a question, concern, or would like to volunteer, please stop in or call our office.
You are always welcome in the building.
We are extremely excited about the 2018-2019 school year and we hope you are too!
You must stop in the office and sign in anytime you come into building. You must also wear a name tag. Parents are always welcome to visit the school, but if you would like to visit your child's classroom, we ask that you make arrangements with the teacher prior to coming in, thus causing the least amount of disruption to the students, as well as the teacher.
If your CHILD is TARDY, you must come in the office and sign him or her in. Students who are tardy more than 4 times per semester may be disciplined.
If you want to DROP OFF AN ITEM to your child, bring it to the office. If you want to see a teacher, you must give a 24-hour notice. We do not want to interrupt classrooms.
If your child will be ABSENT, please call the school's ATTENDANCE LINE at (734) 697-1978. If this is not possible please send in a note when your child returns to school. (Please refer to the Student Handbook for more information about attendance).
STUDENT RELEASE: Students will ONLY be released to those listed on the emergency card. Please be ready to show your ID to the office staff.
PARENT PICK-UP: Dismissal is at 3:35 p.m. (Half day- 11:57 p.m.) Parents can wait in their car at the curb, as teachers will be walking pick-up students to this area.
