Edgemont Elementary  Families,

As we wrap up another fantastic school year, I want to wish everyone a wonderful and restful summer! I hope you find time to relax, recharge, and enjoy special moments with your loved ones.

While you are making summer memories, our dedicated teachers and staff are also spending time with family—and preparing for an exciting year ahead. This fall, we will launch a new English Language Arts curriculum called Wonders. Some of our teachers have already piloted Wonders over the past year, and we are excited for all students to benefit from it. In addition, students will begin learning phonics with the UFLI program (University of Florida Literacy Institute), bringing even more opportunities for growth in reading.

If you’d like to learn more about Wonders or UFLI, please check out the information and websites  listed.

Have a safe, joyful summer—we can’t wait to see you in the fall!

Enjoy the sunshine,

Laura Maher
Principal, Edgemont Elementary
