Rawsonville's Minds in Auto-Motion Club thanks to a grant from SEMA Education was a great experience for our 3rd graders that participated. Students visited the Henry Ford Museum and Ford Rouge Plant for knowledge and inspiration for their Lego car designs. After designing their cars they researched a way to make them move without an electrical source. After they presented their finished car and put it in motion they created a video game that included their car and a track/obstacle course. They then got a chance to build with Lego WeDo 2.0 robotics and coding.

What an award-winning Fantastic Friday! For our last one, we went out with a bang! Our PTO Senior Scholarship winner spoke to the students, our "Favorite Habits" were presented, the "Penny Wars Champs" were crowned, PLUS awards were given to students who scored the highest points, or showed the most growth on their NWEA Reading, Math & Science tests! Way to go, Mustangs!! We're super proud of you!!
Don't forget-- Tomorrow is our LAST Popcorn Day! Only $0.50 a bag & there's a PRIZE in every bag!! It's also Superhero Day, so show off your spirit by wearing superhero gear!
We are organizing the Carnival games this week & are in need of a few donations. We are looking for: Dum-Dum suckers for the sucker tree, Dubble Bubble, or Hubba Bubba chewing gum for the bubble gum blowing contest, non-toxic temporary tattoos for the "Tattoo Art" station, and little prizes like pencils, stickers, small erasers, etc.
We also need 2-liters of pop for the soda pop ring toss & store-bought baked goods for the cake walk.
