The GSRP classes have chosen a curriculum called "High Scope." It is one of the curricula accepted by the State of Michigan. The High Scope Curriculum emphasizes adult-child interaction, a carefully designed learning environment, and a process called "plan-do-review" which strengthens initiative and self-reliance in children and young people. Our ECP and ASD preschool classes are guided by Creative Curriculum. This is one of the curricula accepted by the State of Michigan, and is a wonderful way to help us meet the Standards of Quality. The Creative Curriculum balances teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. There is a focus on children's learning styles and building on their strengths and interests.
