PROGRAMS
THE EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER OF VAN BUREN PUBLIC SCHOOLS HOUSES MANY PROGRAMS.
Great Start Readiness Program (also known as GSRP)- This is a program funded by the State of Michigan for 4-year-olds who meet certain criteria set by the State.
Strong Beginnings- This is a state funded program offered to eligible three-year-old children. The program complies with state licensing regulations and is designed to give a quality school experience.
Early Childhood Special Education Programs ( ECP)- Classrooms funded with state and federal dollars, overseen by the Special Education Department. Students in these programs qualify for an Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Autism Spectrum Disorder Preschool (ASD)- This program is also state and federally funded and run by the Special Education Department. Students must be evaluated and found to meet the eligibility requirements for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Tuition Program Information - Tuition Program for infants from 6 weeks through preschool age.
Connect & Communicate Program for Speech and Language (C&C) - Early Childhood Services cater to students in need of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for support. Among these services is the Connect & Communicate group, which helps students work towards achieving their personalized goals and objectives specified in their IEP.
