Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Today is Patriot Day. It was established as a day to remember those who served and died on September 11, 2001. Take a moment to talk about your experience that day with your child. It is an important part of our history that we should never forget.
