We are entering the last week of testing for 5th Graders. This week they will take the science and social test. We expect them to take their time, read all of the information, and stay focused. Game On, Tigers!

Got Attendance? Our perfect attendance is over 95%. Keep up the good work. Be here on time, every day from April 8 - 25th and earn a free recess. Students who miss 10% or more school days are off track to graduate high school. #ontime #everyday #attendancematters #TigerPride

Bobby McShane's on Sumpter Road is open for business! Tomorrow night is a special night because it is our Dine and Donate. 20% of your bill goes back to our school. This would be a great treat for working hard on the MSTEP this week.

Who loves to play BINGO? Our students do! Those students that exhibited respectful, responsible, and safe behavior during the 2nd cardmarking participated in a friendly game of BINGO last week. This was our quarterly PBIS event. Students had a great time and walked away with some sweet treats as prizes.

Welcome to Officer Stewart as our new school resource officer. He is a huge support to ensure our students in school are secure amd safe. He is a valued addition to the Owen community.

On Tuesday, our 6th-grade students will be taking the MSTEP test. All students will take the Reading and Math tests and be able to show what they know. It isn't easy, but our kids will rise to the challenge. #TigerPride

Miss Runyan and her math students were captured on video during a lesson about math tasks. The State of Michigan wanted to use our teacher and students as a model for others. Math tasks are another strategy to help students gain a deeper understanding of mathematics. #OwenTigers

Tomorrow is the last day for students to bring in change. All of the proceeds will be donated to an organization that brings awareness to Autism. #compassion #changedrive #bringyourmoney
