Thank you Mrs. Kapcia for inviting me into your home to observe what remote learning looks like from the teacher's desk!

The Owen Library will be open tonight (9/29) and again Thursday (10/1) from 4pm-6pm for REMOTE students to choose books to read. It's important that your student has access to books at home for their ELA class. The library is a great place to do just that. Only 7 students will enter at a time and temperatures will be taken and masks must be worn. If you are remote, please stop in tonight!

The band plays on...#TeamOwen at its finest.

Learning at its best. #TeamOwen nails it. We shall rise!

This is a message for our remote K-12 families only...
If your student is in need of a Chromebook for his or her remote classes, please call your home school to arrange a pick-up date and time.
Keeping our students safe and orderly. One way and social distancing markers. #TeamOwen

TRANSPORTATION UPDATE OWEN FAMILIES
The transportation information in the parent portal has been turned ON! Parents can now view their student's bus stop location, stop time and route number in the portal.
Also new this year, we are transitioning the district to community based bus stop locations. This means there will be main stop locations near the entrances of sub divisions and apartments, as well as community stop locations for all other areas. This is safer and will help decrease bus ride times for our students, but will take some getting used to. If you have questions, please call 734-699-5100 or email: transport@vanburenschools.net

Tomorrow is the first day of school. We look forward to seeing all of the smiling faces. #TeamOwen is ready for you!

#TeamOwen will add additional lunch tables in the hallway and have outside seating, when available, to help spread out at lunch. We will make all attempts to have students 6 ft. apart from each other to keep them safe. Masks may be taken off to each lunch just like at home.

Today is the LAST Day for REMOTE learners to pick up their school supplies and materials. Just drive on through from 9 am -3 pm. No need to leave your car!
Please come and get your materials. They are critical for your child's success.
#TeamOwen
