Congratulations to the Boys Track & Field team as they won the MHSAA Regional Championship on Friday night. Many athletes are advancing to the State Champions from both the boys' and girls' teams. Highlights of the meet were:
-Jada Wilson as Regional Champion in the 110 high hurdles, the 300 hurdles, and the 200-meter dash. Her time of 24.83 also set the school record in the 200.
-In the 110 high hurdles, the boys took 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places. Will Jaiden Smith was the Regional Champion, followed by teammates Schmar Gamble, Tim Pinard, and Jaiden Rutley
-Makenzie Simpson was the Regional Champion in the 100-meter dash for the girls. Peyton Trammer was the Regional Champion for the boys.
-Will Jaiden Smith smashed the school record in the 300-meter hurdles and was Regional Champion with a time of 36.94.
-Bryce Watts earned a State Qualifying height in the high jump with a jump of 6'2" and took 6th place.
-Other Regional medalists in events on the day were JeVon Martin, Kalen Turner, Mya Wilson, Naveah Derrick, Kayla Yharbrough, Derrick Taylor, Ray-mond Smith, Danielle Taylor, and Chandler Wiggins. Congratulations to all and good luck at States! Go, Tigers!

We are excited to announce that we are running our BHS Tiger Prep summer program for incoming 9th graders again this year! This summer session is designed to facilitate a smooth transition to high school! The half-day program runs Monday - Thursday, June 23 through July 24 (no classes on July 2 or 3). This is a great opportunity for your student to experience BHS on a smaller scale and for us to get to know your student! Breakfast and lunch are provided, and transportation is provided for in-district students.

BHS students had a fun-filled day attending the Michigan Construction Careers Day at the Operating Engineers 324 Construction Career Center in Howell. Students interested in a construction career pathway were able to operate machinery including excavators, jack hammers, compactors, and more! They also interacted with organizations, companies, and schools that are looking to educate and hire immediately after high school. In Purpose, Excellence, and Achievement! Go Tigers!

Andrea Sprague's students were thrilled to celebrate her award with her! Ms. Sprague was named the 2025 Kiwanis Staff Member of the Year! Among Ms. Sprague's many recent accomplishments are:
-Transitioning the Belleville Early College into a new partnership with Washtenaw Community College
-Expanding the "Unified in the Ville" program to include basketball, robotics, eSports, art, PE, and horticulture!

The Belleville Lady Tigers defeated the West Bloomfield Lakers 60 to 55 at the Breslin Center today in the State Semifinals. The Tigers will take on the winner of the Wayne Memorial vs. Rockford game this afternoon, tomorrow at 12:15, again at the Breslin Center! Come out to support the ladies tomorrow! GO TIGERS!!!

We are thrilled to announce that our FANUC-Mechatronics class has received CTE approval from the State of Michigan! This is great news because students now have the opportunity to earn FANUC Robot Level 1 Operator credentials, earn college credits, and participate in related work-based learning! This also opens doors for approaching and working with industry partners! Go Tigers!
Over the past few years, Work-Based Learning (WBL) at Belleville High School has been limited to students in Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. In the Spring 2025 semester, the WBL program was rebranded and re-envisioned as the Youth Employment Initiative. The Belleville High School Navy JROTC program participated in the yearly Navy Area Managers Inspection, demonstrating the skills learned while enrolled in JROTC. They showcased Self Discipline, Marching, Uniform Inspection, Courage, and Leadership in front of an audience of family members, guests, and school staff. Cadets Matthew Gallagher, Donald Vanassche, and Kaitlyn Patterson were awarded the Navy JROTC’s HIGHEST AWARD of Meritorious Achievement. Cadets Lamont Jones, Aiden Dornbos, Austin Vick, Skyler Kennedy, Mya LaDouceur, and Leia Capers were recipients of the JROTC Cadet Achievement Award.
