Hello from your Van Buren Transportation Department, This is a friendly reminder that there is no school for Van Buren students on Tuesday, November 6th. Also, please note that Wednesday November 7th, Thursday November 8th and Friday November 9th are half days for students. Please plan accordingly for students to arrive home on these half days. Students must ride home on their assigned bus route. All kindergarten students require an authorized adult to meet the bus with picture ID or a signed emergency sheet to exit on their own. Hello Van Buren Public School Parents and Guardians, We wanted to make you aware that Van Buren bus drivers and aides rebid on bus routes after last week’s Count Day. Due to this rebid, your child’s bus driver and/or aide may have changed today. Please be prepared that routes may be delayed due to this change. Due to the water main break in the city of Belleville, Edgemont, Owen, and Belleville High School will not have drinking fountain access tomorrow. There is a 24 hour boil advisory in effect.

Good Morning Van Buren Public School Parents. This morning at Parkwood Manor Apartments, an African American male wearing red plaid pajama pants approached students at the bus stop. Van Buren Police Department has been notified and they are looking into the situation.

Digital Leader Corps training with Belleville High School and McBride Middle School!

All home events including practices have been cancelled at McBride Middle School this afternoon and evening due to the loss of power. 8th Grade McBride Volleyball will still be played at Romulus as scheduled. Release time for McBride students will be at the regular time of 2:30
