John Rouster has lived a remarkable story that started with life on a dairy farm in Michigan until he heard the call to missionary efforts on the African continent. He and his family lived in Congo in a mud hut with dirt floors and a grass roof without electricity or running water for six years, while they planned and built several permanent buildings. In 1994, he received his Adult Bible Study Certificate from Moody Bible College Institute, the culmination of years of evening, summer and correspondence classes. He and his wife Lorella founded Every Child Ministries, a mission dedicated to helping African churches teach the Christian faith.
