Girls JV Soccer shut out Stevenson 3 - 0 Thursday afternoon. Goals came from Molly Parsons, Aubrie Adcock and Eden Varney. MacKenzie Bailey helped solidify the victory with another shut out for her 2nd of the season.
Thursday night the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team traveled to Livonia Stevenson and suffered their first loss of the year by a score of 2-1. Breanna McCluskey scored for the Tigers, who took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but the Spartans came back with two goals in the second half to take the win in the hard-fought match. The loss dropped the team’s record to 4-1 and 3-1 in the league. The next game is tomorrow at home vs. Fordson.
Belleville Lacrosse achieved its second win of the season with a 18-8 victory against Lincoln with goals from Austin Conley, Kyle Mikulski, Jack Foster, and Eli Jeng.

Last night the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team defeated visiting Livonia Churchill by a score of 5-0. Breanna McCluskey scored two, and Molly Cote, Chelsea Powell, and Rachel Riley each added one for the Tigers. Gabby Revels and Addison Tulik combined for the shutout. The victory improves the team’s record to 4 wins and 0 losses, with 31 goals scored and 0 goals allowed. Tomorrow the Tigers travel to Livonia Stevenson to face the undefeated Spartans in a battle for first place.
Varsity Softball snagged a late lead and defeated Salem 11-7 yesterday. The Tigers were down 7-6 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Kendall Volk singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Chloe Solomon, Brooklynn Jones, Veronica Morrison, and Tavia George all had multiple hits for the Tigers.
Brooklynn Jones shut down Pioneer, throwing a complete game shutout and leading the Tigers to a 4-0 victory on Friday. The Tigers tallied six hits on the day. Veronica Morrison and Shelby Yeoman all managed multiple hits for Belleville. Morrison went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Tigers in hits.
The Lacrosse Team defeated Grosse Ile on Friday for their first victory of the season with goals from Austin Conley, Jack Foster, Kyle Mikulski, and Eli Jeng.
Despite a strong fight, varsity baseball couldn't top John Glenn. The Tigers fought back after falling down by six runs in the fourth inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 14-12 defeat to John Glenn on Thursday. Kaden Warren, Demarion Owens, Nolan Stran, Eddie Sain, Seth Campbell and Luke Bodenham each picked up RBIs.

JV girls soccer won their first game yesterday 8-0 vs Franklin. Goals were scored by Samantha Radtka, Eden Varney, Cara Wilkerson, Payton Mathis , and three goals from Molly Parsons. The shutout was recorded by MacKenzie Bailey as our goal keeper.
JV Baseball wins first game and ties the second. A walk-off double led the Tigers past John Glenn 8-7 in game one on Thursday. Belleville was down 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Brett Wallman doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Andy Folks led things off on the pitcher's mound. Andy went five and two-thirds innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits, striking out eight and walking zero. Game two-A single in the fourth inning helped the Tigers battle to a 3-3 tie with John Glenn. Scoring for the Tigers were Kasey Settles and Andy Folks.
Varsity Softball splits with John Glenn. Game one-It came down to the last play, but the Tigers were on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat to John Glenn on Thursday. Belleville notched three runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Alyssa Engle, Brooklynn Jones and a double by Chloe Solomon.
Game two-The Tigers get the win 7 - 4 over John Glenn. The Lady Tigers racked up nine hits in the game. Brooklynn Jones, Veronica Morrison and Alyssa Engle each racked up multiple hits.
Yesterday the varsity women’s soccer team traveled to Wayne Memorial and mercied the Zebras by a score of 10-0. Rachel Riley and Makenzie Simpson both scored three goals, and Jackie Torres, Molly Cote, Breanna McCluskey, and Gabby Revels each added one as the Tigers raised their record to two wins and no losses. The team’s next game is April 6 at home versus Livonia Franklin.
Big Win for Varsity Softball. Brooklynn Jones led the Tigers to a 6 - 2 victory on the rubber in game one against Southgate Anderson last night. The right hander allowed three hits and two runs over five innings, striking out six. Starlynn Kinne Adkins hit a big triple for us that drove in two runs. She also played a stellar 3b all night long.
Chloe Solomon threw a gem in game two, allowing zero runs and beating Southgate Anderson by a score of 5-0. Kendall Volk had two key singles driving in runs both times.
Girls JV Soccer lost a close one to New Boston Huron yesterday 3 - 1. Our lone goal came from Molly Parsons. Excellent game, we just fell a bit short. The JV Tigers will play their home opener against Franklin on Thursday at 5:30pm.
The season ended in the Semifinals this afternoon at the Breslin Center, but what a ride these boys took us on! Congratulations and thank you for a heck of a season!

BHS is hosting the First Robotics competition this weekend, and the excitement has begun!
Yesterday the Belleville Women’s Soccer Team opened their season with a resounding 8-0 victory on the road at Lincoln. Chloe Abney and Chelsea Powell each scored three goals and Molly Cote and Megan Mihaly each scored one in the Tiger victory. The team opens its league season after spring break with an away game at Wayne Memorial on April 5. The first home game is on Thursday, April 7 vs Livonia Franklin.
