The HS volleyball teams are running a volleyball clinic from 9am - 12pm on August 28th for all kids grades 3-8. The cost is $25 and includes the clinic and a shirt. We would like participants to preregister, but will also take walk-ins the day of the clinic. We are using this both as a fundraiser and as an opportunity to get more kids excited about volleyball to help grow the district's programs.
We are asking you to please share the flyer and registration site with your families -- via social media, email, with your back to school information, etc. I have attached the flyer with registration info.

Tryouts will be held 2 separate days. We will hold a one day clinic on July 20th from 4-6pm and JV/Varsity try outs will be July 22nd from 4-6pm,. We will be announcing team placements on July 23rd via phone calls and Instagram, and instructions to athletes will be sent out.
Please note, this years teams will be more selective than in the past. If you are new to cheerleading, we do have a JV Team. If you do not have tumbling and stunting experience, we suggest also applying to be a member of our JV team.

JV Baseball splits DH with John Glenn on Tuesday. Jacob Stokes pitched 6 strong innings in game 1, in the 4-3 loss. Seth Campbell had several outstanding plays in the infield. Kasey Settles scored on a wild pitch to secure the walk-off game 2 victory, 5-4.
The varsity softball team had a 6 - 1 victory over Southgate Anderson on Wednesday. Veronica Morrison, Alyssa Engle, and Brooklynn Jones each collected multiple hits for the Tigers. Morrison went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead in hits. Congratulations to Brooklynn Jones on her home run.
